BeF. Border Brigades

I volunteered in Brigadas en Frontera, an initiative of the Ministry of Education that generated a platform for research, experimentation and development of alternative water and sanitation solutions to the shortage of basic services in rural public schools in the Peruvian Amazon. A module for dry toilets and rainwater collection was built on the banks of the Putumayo River, on the border between Peru and Colombia, in the community of Puerto Soledad, Loreto region.
