Peru Rail Waiting Area

The waiting area for the train to Machu Picchu in the village of Ollantaytambo aims to evoke a local atmosphere. The architecture features three roofs surrounding a rectangular pebbled patio with a central bonfire. Utilizing stone, earth, and wood, three building materials that harmonize beautifully. Native vegetation adorns the covered spaces, providing color and shade with indigenous plants and trees.
